“ Not very good, my scone was hard & overworked. Had to remind staff after 30 minutes about the sandwich. Ended up taking it with us. Not impressed ”

“ Our 1st visit to Jan's Kitchen for a spot of lunch was 100% perfect. As far as Cafe food goes you can't do much better! We were greeted by warm smiles, friendly service and a very clean environment! We didn't have to wait long for a 'good quality' pot of tea followed shortly after by a delicious Lemon Crayfish Jacket Potato, super-fresh salad, authentic tasting mayonnaise and crunchy coleslaw! To be honest it's a combination of food we wouldn't ordinarily choose but tasted fantastic!! The Cafe was nice and busy so didn't lack atmosphere.... I guess the only picky criticism could be that a bit of background music would be a nice touch. To be really picky our table was a touch wobbly, but hey, for value for money and quality of food this place is well worth a 5 star review. Well done, and we WILL definitely be returning :-) ”
